About Nita
An adventurer behind the mic.
A world traveler and adventurer since 1981, Nita also speaks French, Greek, and Swahili. Her wanderlust led her to live in England, France, Greece, and East Africa. She is keenly attracted to the travel industry where she worked in France and Kenya, and more recently, at a US multinational e-commerce company. She learned her Swahili as a safari tour guide in East Africa during the 1980's; she returned to Kenya and Tanzania many times, including for a Kilimanjaro summit in 2018.

Nita began professional voice over narration in 2019 under the direction of Susan Berkley, founder of The Great Voice Company and in 2024` and with David Goldberg, founder of Edge Studio NYC

Since 2014, Nita produced multiple e-learning courses in the compliance & ethics space where she built her career since 2004. She has auditioned, cast talent, and directed voice over talent for numerous productions including graphic animations, live action, and explainer videos. Now as a voice actor, Nita now narrates and performs in elearning and video productions.
Nita has talent experience in e-learning, explainer videos, audiobooks and commercial voice over. Nita's love of the art of storytelling has brought her toward audiobook and story narration as an aspirational goal. An avid reader, Nita has listened to over 430 audio books on Audible.com,Apple Audiobooks and various apps since 2012. Now she has moved her love of reading to include performing voiceovers for may genres.

Nita has trained with a multitude of experienced VO coaches in addition to Susan Berkley. Coaches in the US include David Goldberg, founder Edge Studio NYC, Tia Marlier, singer, actor, VO actor and casting agent; Randy Dean, veteran voice actor, the voice of Volvo and a Marconi Award nominee; Pamela Almand a multiple award-winning audiobook narrator & Audie finalist; David Brower, a voice actor 5-time Voice Arts Awards nominee, and acting coaching with Diana Boylston, an acclaimed American actress and film producer known for Young Rock (2021), The Marked (2020) and Claws (2017).

Nita earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication at the University of Hartford and a Master of Business Administration, International Business, at The University of Connecticut in 2014.
